My sister discovered the device you donared is actually a short of tuning fork that grows bright when around the mysterious forest infection. We had differing ideas on why the Umbraans wanted to track it though. I think they knew the infection was dangerous and used this instrument to avoid it. We will see who is correct when we hear back from the museum.

It turns out the device you found is in fact an Echo Locator.

I was correct that the Umbraans knew about the substance and considered it quite dangerous for its emotional manipulation properties.

I was, however; surprised to learn that when the Umbraans lived here the substance was considered quite rare.

It seems that...something...has caused the Echo to spread like wildfire recently.

I still don't know what the object you brought us is, but I must admit, I've been distracted watching it go up and down and up and down. Hopefully the museum will discover it's true use.

That phoenix necklace is, of course, beautiful. Thought I would avoid ascribing any mythic properties to it. On careful inspection, several of the star stones present were fake, which is rarely the case with religious artifacts. Thought perhaps they were replaced over the years.

I had not believed Kitsuus were around in ancient times, but it seems this statue disagrees. I will have to share our discovery with Jina.

I loved the dress you brought so much that I actually tried my hand at sewing for the first time. What came out was...an utter disaster. But sometimes it just feels good to try something new.

Uh, Elouisa was so fascinated with the lute you found, I encouraged her to make her own. A huge mistake! It keeps attracting silverwings...which means, silverwing droppings.

I have to admit, I may have been a little hard headed. The creature in the painting does look like one of Elouisa's cryptids. Perhaps, she's not...entirely deluded.

The device you gave us seems like it's set up to process raw Flow somehow, but the methods are beyond me. Since the Umbraan scholars are forbidden from sharing knowledge about magic with Palians, perhaps I could recruit Zeki if his curiosity really gets the best of me.

What my sister calls a "mermaid" I call an infected rockhopper taxidermied to a fish...but I've long since stopped trying to question her so-called "logic."

That reminds me, I keep meaning to send that sword back to the Umbraan capital with the rest of the relics, but I can't seem to find it...
