How many gifts can you give per day in Palia?
One gift per villager, per day. Giving a villager something they love or like raises your friendship; the limit resets at the daily reset (4 AM UTC). The planner below tracks who you've already gifted today so you never double-up or miss anyone.
Do loved gifts give more friendship than liked gifts?
Yes. A loved gift grants roughly double the friendship of a liked one, so it's worth saving a villager's favourite for their daily gift. Each villager card lists their loved categories and items first.
What's the best gift to give every villager?
There's no single universal favourite, but some whole categories are loved by many villagers at once — the "Crowd-pleasing categories" section ranks them. Carrying a stack from a widely-loved category means you'll almost always have a strong daily gift on hand.
