Overview

You need to find a way to collect samples from the infected insects of the Elderwood. Subira has suggested you speak to Auni.

Objectives

1. Part 1

   • Talk to Auni about catching infected insects.

2. Part 2

   Auni thinks Najuma will be able to help you craft some smoke bombs that will work on infected insects. Speak to her in Bahari to see what she'll need!

   • Meet Auni at Najuma's.

3. Part 3

   Najuma needs some materials in order to craft the proper smoke bombs, and Auni's gone rushing off into the Elderwood alone! Maybe you can find and help him while you're foraging?

   • Batterfly Beans (0/3)
   • Piksii Berries (0/3)
   • Staircase Mushroom (0/3)
   • Infected Essence (0/10)
   • Optional: Find Auni in the Elderwood.
   • Return to Najuma

4. Part 4

   Now that you've unlocked the ability to catch infected insects, it's time to start collecting samples!

   • Catch infected insects in the Elderwood.
   • Collect Infected Essence
   • Return to Subira

Walkthrough

1. 1
   Talk with Auni.
2. 2
   Head to Bahari Bay to see whether Najuma can craft a special smokebomb.
3. 3
   Go to the Elderwood to collect the needed items and Infected Essence.
4. 4
   Once you've gathered the items, head back to Najuma in Bahari Bay.
5. 5
   Use your new smokebombs to catch infected insects for Subira.
6. 6
   Bring the samples back to Subira.
