   You found the Flower being guarded by a desperate echoling. He wants you to read a letter detailing the death of his fallen comrade to see what he could have done to save him.

   • Return to Desperate Echoling

3. Part 3

   You have suggest a course of action that could have changed the past. Check the letter to see what happened.

   • Check the updated book.
   • Optional: Check in on the others.
   • Return to Desperate Echoling

4. Part 4

   Time to see if anything's changed once more.

   • See if the letter changed again.
   • Optional: Check in with the others.
   • Return to Desperate Echoling

5. Part 5

   Like the others it appears the desperate echoling has left behind a Flowflower.

   • Gather the Flowflower.

6. Part 6

   The desperate echoling has decided to let go and reunite with his lost love in death. See hwo the others are faring.

   • Check back in with the others.

Walkthrough

   In what used to be Mauvais Way, follow the big tree's spear-pricked roots to the Umbraan campsite and talk to the Desperate Echoling (large essence ball).

   Read the letter on the nearby table.

   Talk to the Echoling again.

   Check the letter on the table for an updated take on the story.

   • Optional: Talk to the others.

   Talk to the Echoling to hear their response.

   Read the letter again for the newest version of the story.
